These terms cover the SpotPick app and this website. SpotPick is made by Teo R.Design, referred to here as "we" and "us". By installing SpotPick or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Your licence
SpotPick is free to download and use. SpotPick Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks extra features with a licence key. Whether you use the free version or Pro, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use SpotPick on devices you own or control. You can use it for personal and commercial work. Each Pro licence key can be activated on up to 3 of your own computers. Pro bought from our website is for the desktop app; Pro in the mobile app is bought separately through its app store.
You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, share or redistribute the app
- share, sell or publish your licence key
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows this
- remove or change any copyright or licence notices
SpotPick is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights in the app, its design, its name and this website.
Buying, refunds and your rights
On Windows, SpotPick Pro is sold through our online reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes your payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and emails you your receipt and licence key. Its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
14-day refund. If you're not happy with SpotPick Pro, email us within 14 days of buying and include your order number. We'll give you a full refund, no questions asked. When we refund you, we disable your licence key and the app returns to the free version. Your saved colours and folders are not deleted.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. For more information, contact Citizens Advice.
Updates
We may release updates that fix problems, improve the app or change features. SpotPick checks for updates when it starts and asks you before installing one.
Your colours
Everything you create in SpotPick belongs to you, including your colours, folders and exported files. It stays on your device, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our responsibility to you
We build SpotPick with care, but we can't promise it will always be free from errors or interruptions. We aren't responsible for loss that we couldn't reasonably foresee, or for business losses such as lost profits or lost data. Please keep your own backups using the Export feature.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for SpotPick. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
This website
The text, images and designs on this website belong to us. You may view and share links to them, but you may not copy them for commercial use without our permission. SpotPick™ and the SpotPick logo are trademarks of Teo R.Design. Windows, macOS, App Store, Android and Google Play are trademarks of their owners.
Open-source software
SpotPick includes open-source software, used under its own licences. You can read them in the app under Settings › About › Open-source licences. This website is built with VitePress and Vue (MIT licence) and uses the Inter and DM Mono fonts (SIL Open Font Licence 1.1).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page when we do. Changes don't apply to you retrospectively.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
