Is SpotPick really free?

Yes. The core app is free to download and use on Windows, and will be on iOS too. The eyedropper, quick-pick pill, camera picker, colour wheel, HEX and RGB copying, and up to 20 saved colours are all included. SpotPick Pro is a one-time purchase that adds colour folders, unlimited saved colours, developer formats, image palette extraction, library export and future sync features. If you go over 20 colours, nothing is ever deleted.

Is SpotPick Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase of £6.99. You pay once and own it forever. No renewals, no monthly fees.

Does it work on multiple monitors?

Yes. The eyedropper picks freely across all connected monitors at native resolution, and the quick-pick pill always opens on whichever screen your cursor is on.

What colour formats does it support?

Hex is on your clipboard the moment you pick, and RGB is one click away. SpotPick Pro adds HSL, CSS variables, Swift UIColor, Kotlin and Android XML. If there’s a format you need, let us know.

When are iOS, macOS and Android coming?

They’re all in active development. We’d rather ship one polished app at a time than rush all four at once.

Will Pro carry over if I switch platforms?

Not currently. On desktop you buy Pro from our website, and on mobile through the App Store or Google Play, so desktop and mobile are separate purchases. Even buying both costs less than a year of most subscription colour tools.

How do I unlock Pro on my computer?

Buy Pro from this page and you’ll get a licence key by email. In SpotPick, open Settings, paste the key under SpotPick Pro and press Activate. One key works on up to 3 of your computers, and you can deactivate it on one PC to move it to another. If you can’t get to the old PC anymore, email us at hello@spotpick.app and we’ll free up the slot.

How does the camera picker work on mobile?

Switch to camera mode and point your phone at anything. A crosshair samples the colour in real time and shows the hex live. Tap to capture, then copy it, save it or share it.
